Importance of research on sitosterolemia

 

Clinical research and bench research are critical to progress in medicine. This applies to sitosterolemia as well. The goal of the Sitosterolemia Foundation is to encourage and support research on sitosterolemia to find new treatments and ensure better disease management. A number of scientists have been involved in the study of sitosterolemia.
